“Superman” put on a dangerous show on a scooter

A video of a “superhero” on an electric scooter caused outrage in Greece: the young man maneuvered among the cars and grossly violated traffic rules.

Video with “Superman” on an electric scooter, who performed dangerous overtaking and acrobatic stunts on the streets of one of the Greek cities, went viral on social networks and caused a strong reaction.

Along with him, according to eyewitnesses, there were other young people on electric scooters who did the same thing, and in some places even worse. Apparently, the usual movement on the road was not enough for them, and they decided to test how long human stupidity can argue with physics.

The footage shows the electric scooter driver moving among cars late at night, pretending to be something between Superman And Batman. Only without superpowers, without armor and, apparently, without a basic understanding that the road is not a platform for a circus act.

Video published in social networksshows a young man performing dangerous maneuvers and overtaking between cars that are moving normally. However, it is not specified in which Greek city all this happened.

A young man rides standing on an electric scooter, changes lanes at high speed and passes right next to cars, essentially creating all the conditions for a serious accident. And if to some this seems like “courage,” then the traffic police usually have less romantic words for such speeches.

According to eyewitnesses, he was not alone. Together with him there were 2-3 other people on similar electric scooters who performed similar dangerous maneuvers.

Video that caused outrage

The electric scooter driver does not follow any traffic rules: he zigzags between lanes, overtakes cars on the right and left, and suddenly changes direction.

The video caused a sharp reaction on social networks. Most commentators talk about “recklessness” And “disrespect for other people’s lives”. And in this case it is difficult to argue: when a person turns the road into a personal attraction, not only he himself is at risk, but also everyone who happens to be nearby.

Electric scooters are prohibited from driving on highways, avenues and high-speed roads. The behavior shown in the video constitutes multiple violations. Traffic Code and entails serious fines. And in the event of an accident, we can talk about criminal liability.

It is not yet known whether it has been installed traffic police the identity of the electric scooter driver and his company.

The incident is yet another reminder of the need for tighter controls on the use of electric scooters, which more and more people are using as if they were… “superheroes” of the roads. In practice, such “heroes” most often create emergency situations rather than heroic deeds.
