Artificial intelligence Grokdeveloped by the company Elon Muskwas used by an Election Time blogger to model the possible outcome of the presidential election USA 2028.
Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Josh Shapiro, JB Pritzker, Cory Booker and Tim Walz were mentioned as potential Democratic candidates. Among the Republicans considered were J.D. Vance, Donald Trump Jr., Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis, Robert Kennedy Jr., Nikki Haley, Ted Cruz and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Favorites according to the model
Early polls from Feb. 12 used in the video had Harris at 32% in the Democratic primary and Newsom at 23.8%. Among Republicans, JD Vance showed 49.2%, while Donald Trump Jr. – 19.5%.
The system also gave Harris a 56% chance of being re-nominated and Vance a 46% chance of being nominated.
Simulated electoral map
In the J.D. Vance-Kamala Harris scenario, the model suggested that Vance’s “safe” states would be Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska (excluding the 2nd District), Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, South Carolina and Ohio.
Harris’s model names California, Washington, Hawaii, Vermont, Massachusetts and a number of others as “reliable” states. Unlike the 2024 scenario, Delaware and Connecticut are also considered strong supporters.
As a result of the calculation, Grok predicted 326 electoral votes for J.D. Vance versus 212 for Kamala Harris.
It should be noted that this is a hypothetical simulation based on current data and algorithmic processing of information. There is significant time remaining before the 2028 elections, and actual political conditions may change significantly.
