War in Ukraine: Russians control the situation everywhere, but… act extremely slowly

Current tactical situation at the fronts Ukraine remains tense. Russian troops retain initiative for actionhowever, the pace of progress remains limited.

According to sources, Russia has reduced the intensity of its offensive in recent weeks, likely accumulating reserves And ammunition for spring operations.

Zaporizhia Front
Battles continue in Primorsky and Rechny. Fighting is ongoing on the Novoboykovskoe–Novoyakovlevka line. (Fig.1.1)

Strategy wars of attritioncurrently used, did not lead to rapid fracture. Despite personnel and resource constraints, Ukrainian forces continue to hold their positions.

Zaporozhye direction

Fighting continues in the areas Primorsky And Riverand also on line Novobogdanovka – Novoyakovlevka.

Ukrainian units formed a tactical protruding area up to 16 kilometers deep, however, its retention is complicated by attacks from three directions.

In the area Gulyai-Polya Russian forces are fighting for populated areas Kosovtsevo And Ternovatoe. In the sector Orekhova advance in the area has been recorded Lugovsky.

Donetsk direction

In the area Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) fighting continues near Grishino.

On Dobropolsky the direction of collisions are in areas New Donbass, Belitskoe And Toretsk.

In the sector Konstantinovka Russian units are expanding control nearby Brest And Ilyinovka.

Advances reported in the area Chervonogosouthwest Chasova Yaraas well as in the area Novomarkovo.

Limansk and Seversk directions

In the area Krasny Liman fighting continues near Alexandrovka, Spring And Drobyshevo.

On Seversky direction Russian forces are moving south Zakotnyfighting in the area Ozyorny and nearby Nikiforovka And Fedorovka.

Violent clashes continue over Reznikovka.

Kharkov direction

In the area Kupyansk The intensity of the fighting remains high. Advancement noted nearby Novoosinovo and further south Kurilovka.

Towards Boguslav troops advance southwest Novoplatonovka.

In the sector Volchansk fighting continues in the areas oxbow lakes And Volchanskikh Khutors. The control zone is expanding near Simonovki.

Sumy direction
