Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) announced detention in Istanbul alleged Israeli intelligence agents “Mossad”.
According to Turkish sources, the operation, code-named “MONITUM” was carried out as part of secret counterintelligence work in the metropolis.

During the operation, according to local media, he was detained Mehmet Buntak Deriyawho allegedly carried out intelligence activities under the guise of a marble merchant, as well as his alleged accomplice Veysel Kerimoglu.
Turkish authorities say that the detainees were collecting information in the interests of foreign intelligence services, but the details of their activities are not officially disclosed.
The Israeli side did not comment on Ankara’s statements at the time of publication. There is also no independent confirmation of the information presented yet.
