Yesterday in a mixed court Scythe the trial has begun and continues today 40 year old manaccused by his ex-partner of sexually assaulting her 13-year-old daughter (from a previous marriage) for three years.
According to the publication Rodiaksa hearing of the case began behind closed doors in Kos yesterday, and, according to available information, the mother of the minor testified before the court. The trial was adjourned later in the day and will continue today with the questioning of the remaining witnesses.
It is noted that the 40-year-old man is accused of committing a total of four crimes, which he denies, but for which, after pleading guilty, he was temporarily detained and taken into custody, namely:
- Multiple rape.
- Cruel treatment of a minor under the age of 14, the aggravating circumstance of which is the commission of the act by a person living with the minor.
- Repeated violation of the sexual dignity of victims before and after the age of 12 years.
As you know, the case has entered the stage of justice after the statementfiled by his 45-year-old ex-partner with the police on April 28, 2025, and the investigation into the case immediately began by order of the competent Rhodes First Instance Prosecutor.
