“Havana syndrome” is back: a former CIA employee spoke about energy weapons

Although a direct connection with the incidents has not yet been established, the very fact of the existence of such technology has once again revived discussions about possible use of energy weaponsespecially since the device can be secretly carried in a regular backpack.

The key figure in this story was Mark Polymeropoulosformer CIA officer 26 years of experienceparticipated in high-risk operations in Iraq And Afghanistan. During his first official trip to Moscow in December 2017, he suddenly experienced an acute attack – severe dizziness, tinnitus, nausea and loss of balance.

A few days later, a second episode followed, after which he was virtually confined to a hotel room until he returned to the United States. The symptoms did not disappear: over time they developed into chronic headachescognitive impairment, vision problems, insomnia, severe sleep apnea, as well as severe anxiety and depression.

After many years of examinations in Walter Reed Military Medical Center he was diagnosed mild traumatic brain injuryassociated with an “external influence factor,” as well as a whole range of neurological and mental disorders.

Polymeropoulos himself believes that the new data only strengthens his suspicions. According to him, if the version about the use of such technologies is confirmed, CIA and US government are obliged to make a public apology to the victims – for years of ignorance, doubt and attempts to reduce the problem to psychological reasons.
