A few days later, a second episode followed, after which he was virtually confined to a hotel room until he returned to the United States. The symptoms did not disappear: over time they developed into chronic headachescognitive impairment, vision problems, insomnia, severe sleep apnea, as well as severe anxiety and depression.
After many years of examinations in Walter Reed Military Medical Center he was diagnosed mild traumatic brain injuryassociated with an “external influence factor,” as well as a whole range of neurological and mental disorders.
Polymeropoulos himself believes that the new data only strengthens his suspicions.
