Continuing the publication, the former head of state made even harsher formulations, saying that after his “imminent death,” Zelensky’s body supposedly should have been exhibit in the Kunstkamera in St. Petersburg for study.
Medvedev recalled that the Kunstkamera is a cabinet of curiosities founded Peter I in the 18th century, where anatomical anomalies were also collected, thereby deliberately strengthening dehumanizing character their statements.
The publication caused a stir due to the level of aggression and language used by a person who previously held positions President of Russia And Prime Minister.
At the time of publication, official Kyiv did not comment on Medvedev’s statements. The Kremlin also did not clarify whether such rhetoric reflects the official position of the Russian authorities.
The incident was another example escalation of political language in the public space against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
