The man, also a foreign citizen, was detained. A criminal case has been opened against him on a number of particularly serious charges, including labor exploitation, rape, attempted murder And domestic violence.
According to the case materials, the accused exploited a woman and her daughter for labor purposes, and also subjected a 47-year-old woman sexual and physical violence. Among the recorded episodes are mentioned strangulation and systematic use of force.
Initially the victim refused to acknowledge the violence and did not report any criminal activity. However, after a repeated appeal to law enforcement agencies and a new statement, the police began an investigation, which led to the arrest of the suspect.
The investigation established that the man lived with the woman and her daughter. from the beginning of November 2025. All acts of violence, according to police, occurred in the presence of a minor child.
By order of the prosecutor’s office, the woman and her daughter were immediately placed in a secure social facility. The detainee will soon be taken to prosecutor’s office to testify and bring charges.
