Greek police detained a criminal gang of 6 people, which, according to investigators, are hired killers working for one of the mafia groups in the capital and managed to expand its network throughout almost all of Attica.
According to senior officers GADAdetained they were preparing a new execution: their next target was a man who controls a network of nightclubs and gas stations in Piraeus.
The key figure in the group is considered Albanian killer nicknamed “Dimos”. A 48-year-old Greek, who was part of the inner circle of performers, also played an active role in the operation.
In the house of “Demos” – one of those accused of participating in the organization assassinsallegedly committed assassination attempt on Yiannis Lalas in May 2025, weapons, ammunition and magazines were discovered.
