Belgian teen Laurent Simons At the age of 15, he defended his second doctoral dissertation, continuing a unique academic path that began in early childhood. His new work is dedicated to theoretical quantum physicswhile the first dissertation concerned experimental physics.
According to the young scientist, he has photographic memory and the ability to quickly find connections between complex scientific phenomena. In an interview with the publication BILD he stated: “I want to create superhumans. The kind that jump like Michael Jordan and run like Olympians.”.
Laurent showed an interest in science very early. At the age of four he began studying at school, and at six he continued at the gymnasium, where he received an individual program. At the age of eight he passed the exams, and at nine he entered the university. Already at 12 he became one of the youngest doctoral students in history Max Planck Institute.
