Strict schedules apply in Kyiv power outages. Due to the massive Russian missile and drone strike, there will be significantly more power outages in the coming days and they will last longer.
And from 3 to 4 lines will be turned off at the same time, this means that more premises of Kiev residents will be de-energized than there will be electricity.
Note that nuclear power plants were forced to reduce their generation capacity as a result of a massive overnight attack by the Russian Federation on the energy infrastructure the day before. Power engineers are doing everything possible to power all de-energized subscribers as quickly as possible and return damaged RF videoconferencing equipment back into operation. However, at NEC “Ukrenergo” on Saturday, December 6, announced the introduction of total shutdowns in a volume of 3 to 4 queues.

The situation with electricity as a result of Russian attacks on infrastructure will be extremely bad both in Kyiv and in Ukraine as a whole. On Sunday, December 7, blackout schedules continued to apply across the country. At the same time, all outage groups in the capital will spend most of the day without electricity, as evidenced by the outage graphs, published by DTEK Kyiv Electric Grids.
So, group 1.1 will spend only 8 hours with light during the day. In some queues, like in 2.2, the lights will be turned off 4 times a day. And we can say that two thirds of consumers in Kyiv will be without electricity at the same time.
By information Ukrenergo, December 8, in all regions of Ukraine during the day, measures will be applied to limit electricity consumption due to the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks attacks for energy facilities.
Hourly blackout schedules will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59 in a volume of 2.5 to 4 turns. During the same period, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers will be applied.
Ukrenergo notes that the time and scope of restrictions may change depending on the situation in the energy system, and urges you to follow updates on the official pages of oblenergos in your regions.
