Austrian Kronen Zeitung published details of the brutal murder of a 21-year-old Ukrainian Danila Kuzminason of the deputy mayor Kharkov Sergei Kuzmin. As the investigation found out, the young man died not from blunt force traumaas originally reported, but was burned alive inside your own car Mercedes.
According to Austrian journalists, a group of men beat Kuzmin during a meeting in the underground garage of an elite hotel in the center Vienna. After the beating, he was put in the back seat of the car, and one of the attackers got behind the wheel. Accompanied by an accomplice, they took the car to the deserted outskirts of the city and set it on fire, leaving the young man inside still alive.
The family of the deceased, who lived in Austria after the start of the war, had already arrived at the scene of the tragedy to arrange the repatriation of the body. Meanwhile, on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs a wanted card for Kuzmin appeared, indicating the date of his disappearance – November 25, 2025.
After reports of his disappearance, law enforcement officers discovered that two crypto-wallets that were associated with the young man were completely empty. According to a source in the Ukrainian security forces, this strengthened the version of the financial motive for the murder.
As the interlocutor noted, during a full-scale war, the deputy mayor of Kharkov took the entire family to Austria. Sources suggest that the reason for the murder could have been a monetary debt that Kuzmin Jr. could not repay, since his crypto accounts were completely empty at the time of his disappearance. According to another version, the wallets were emptied by the killers, who forced Kuzmin to give them access codes.
The investigation by the Austrian police continues, the circle of suspects is expanding, and official data confirms that this is a carefully planned murder with an economic motive.
