On the morning of Wednesday, November 12, a powerful earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred in Cyprus.
The earthquake occurred 14 kilometers east of Paphos, the source lay at a depth of 12 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt in all provinces of the island. Moreover, there were reports on social networks that it was prolonged.

The initial shock was followed by a series of aftershocks, the strongest of which measured 4.7 on the Richter scale.
