Greeks are preparing for large-scale sales within Black Friday And Cyber Mondaywhich will take place in 2025 November 28 And December 1 respectively.
According to the survey EY Future Consumer Index Ελλάδα 2025interest in shopping has reached a record level – 63% of respondents declared their intention to participate in the actions, whereas a year ago there were 50% of them.
The most active consumers were Greeks aged from 30 to 39 years old (76%), especially if the family has minor children – in this case, interest in sales reaches 77%.
Of greatest interest are technology and electronics – 68% of respondents plan to buy them (among men – 77%). Women are more often chosen clothes and accessories (68%), and household goods (26%) and cosmetics (32%). Even food appears in the plans of 11% of respondents.
However, against the backdrop of enthusiasm there is also skepticism: 45% believe that discounts do not reflect real price declines. This is also confirmed by the fact that 81% of consumers We deliberately postponed purchases to wait for Black Friday – but we are not sure that the offers will be profitable.
