Late in the evening of November 5th at Patrach There was a new incident of street violence: group of young gypsies attacked a courier delivering food.
The attack happened at a street intersection Akratirio And Eleftherios Venizelloscausing great concern among local residents.
According to preliminary data, several young men surrounded the courier and began beating him without any conflict or provocation. The man tried to defend himself, but received numerous injuries to his head and body. He was taken to Patras hospital to provide medical care.
Eyewitnesses immediately called policeand within a few minutes reinforced squads arrived at the scene to prevent further unrest. The attackers fled before law enforcement arrived.
