Came into force in Greece on November 1 winter night electricity tariff schedulewhich will be valid until March 31, 2026. This is part of a program aimed at reducing energy costs for households and optimization of network load.
Users connected to two-zone tariffautomatically benefit from lower electricity prices during low demand hours. For others, there is the opportunity to submit an application to ΔΕΔΔΗΕ to connect to the system.

New night tariff schedule
- Daytime (preferential) zone: 12:00 – 15:00
- Night zone: 02:00 – 05:00
Switching between zones is carried out automatically for most consumers. However, owners of older meters that do not support the two-zone system must replace the deviceby submitting an application through ΔΕΔΔΗΕ.
How to check availability of a “night” tariff
- On the website ΔΕΔΔΗΕby entering the power supply number.
- In the electricity bill: presence of a note “Ν” (for example, Γ1Ν).
- There is a separate indicator or light on the switchboard.
- By phone hotline: 800 400 4000 (for free).
You can apply for a new service online through the official portal of ΔΕΔΔΗΕ or by phone. The system makes it possible to use cheap energy at nightwhen the load on the network is minimal, and thereby contributes to reducing overall energy costs in the country.
“Night” tariff (which is now not only at night, just the name remains the same) is a real tool for citizens who want to reduce their bills and at the same time maintain sustainable energy consumption. It encourages the use of electricity during hours when the grid is not congested, striking a balance between savings and efficiency.
