Tensions in Caribbean region is growing rapidly: according to local sources, American ships surrounded territorial waters Venezuela and “fixed” military targets within the country.

Maduro asks for help from Putin, Xi and Iran
In a letter sent personally to the President Russia to Vladimir Putinleader of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro requested military support — modernization of radar systems, repair of military aircraft and, possibly, the supply of new missile systems.

The official statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry says: “We support the leadership of Venezuela in defending its national sovereignty, taking into account the dynamics of the international and regional situation. Russia is ready to respond appropriately to requests from our partners in light of emerging threats.”
Among the joint projects remain factory for the production of Kalashnikov assault rifles in the state of Aragua and gas and oil production in fields valued at billions of dollars.
However, experts believe that Moscow’s current potential for military support to Venezuela limited compared to previous years.
