US President Donald Trump in an interview with a magazine Time stated that it was he forced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stop the war in Gaza. The interview was published shortly after the truce between Israel And Hamas.
“I told him: ‘Bibi, you can’t fight the whole world. You can fight individual battles, but the whole world is against you. And Israel is too small compared to the world.'”Trump said, claiming that after his conversation with Netanyahu, the fighting stopped.
According to Trump, he stopped the Israeli Prime Ministerbecause he “would have continued the war for years.” “I stopped him and everyone rallied. It was amazing” – he added.

On Israel’s “fatal mistake” in Qatar
The American leader called Israel’s attempt attack Hamas leaders in Qatar “a terrible mistake,” but noted that it was this incident that helped speed up the achievement of a truce. “When he suffered this tactical defeat, it ended up being one of the reasons why we all came together.”Trump said.
Israel and Saudi Arabia: a new deal
Trump also expressed confidence that Israel and Saudi Arabia relations will be normalized by the end of the year. “I think we’re very close. Saudi Arabia will lead this process. Now there is no Gaza problem, no Iran problem.”he noted.
When asked whether Saudi Arabia would enter Abraham Accords before the end of the year, Trump responded: “Yes, I think it will happen”.
The President also stated that he plans visit the Gaza Strip in the future and emphasized that he does not consider Mahmoud Abbas legitimate leader of the Palestinian people.
