The court found the defendant guilty of all charges and did not provide him with any mitigating circumstances. In addition, he was assigned fine in the amount of 230 thousand euros. Court records emphasize that the crimes were deliberate and systematic.
As established during the investigation, the monstrous actions of a 63-year-old man became known in 2024 after the 18-year-old sister of one of the victims contacted the police. She said that the accused wrote to her brother erotic messages and committed depraved acts against him. After her testimony, an official investigation began.
Police searched the house of a criminal in one of the communities of the municipality Muzakiwhere he moved from Athens. Photographs of a minor were found there, as well as notes and electronic devices seized for examination. According to law enforcement agencies, it was this evidence that became key in establishing the man’s guilt.
The court decision in the case became one of the harshest in modern Greek justice practice. It demonstrates the state’s zero tolerance for crimes against children and emphasizes the priority of protecting minors over any legal reservations. Greek society expects the case to become an example for other courts and prevent similar tragedies in the future.
