According to the German publication “RBC-Ukraine”in several regions Ukraine Combat operators are being trained FPV dronesand among the students of these courses are not only Ukrainian military personnel, but also dubious characters from abroad.
In particular, we are talking about people who have connections with Latin American drug cartels.
As the portal writes “RBC-Ukraine”the center of attention was a certain volunteer under the call sign Aguila 7who introduced himself as a citizen of El Salvador. In 2024, he completed full training at Lvovhowever, investigation revealed that he is likely associated with an elite unit mexican armyfrom which the fighters of the notorious cartel emerged “Los Zetas”.
Connections extend beyond Mexico
French edition Intelligence Onlineciting sources in SBUreports that Ukraine “has become a platform for disseminating combat skills in the use of FPV drones.” According to information received by journalists, through training in International Legion at least three participants passed Colombian group FARK.
British newspaper Telegraph adds that the identity of foreign volunteers in practice checked extremely superficially. The publication’s reporters visited one of the legion units and later found out that one of the participants was Finnish drug dealernow sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Dangerous export school
Concern is growing in Europe: military technologies tested on the Ukrainian front are beginning to fall into the hands of organized crime groups. According to Mexican media, in early October the cartel Sinaloa pioneered the use of FPV drones with fiber optic control. Sources claim that the cartels are actively recruiting former military personnel from Colombia and those who have already fought on the side of Ukraine.
According to French analysts, we are talking about creating a whole “black market for combat experience”where Ukrainian technologies become a tool for future wars between drug clans.
If earlier drones were considered a weapon of war, now they are turning into a tool of criminal warfare. And the world, it seems, has already crossed the line where it was possible to separate the front from the street.
