More than 38 kg of cocaine discovered by authorities in container with bananas in the port of Piraeus. In particular, during the inspection, 33 homemade packages with a total weight of 38.2 kg were discovered, carefully hidden inside the container between the cooling mechanism and the inner wall.
A ship from Ecuador, loaded with 1,080 boxes of bananas, arrived at the port of Piraeus on October 12.
It is estimated that the expected benefit from selling the confiscated quantity on the domestic market would be around €1 million.
