The centrist liberal movement also passed into the parliament “The elders and independent“(11.18% of the votes and 22 mandates), the Pirate Party (8.86% and 18 mandates), a batch of EuroSceptics “Freedom and direct democracy” (7.81% and 15 mandates) and the right party “Motorists for themselves “ (6.79% and 13 mandates).

The remaining political forces received less than five percent of the vote and will not go to parliament.

Andrei Babish announced that he would negotiate the creation of a coalition with the parties “Freedom and Direct Democracy” and “Motorists for himself”. According to him, he will seek the formation of a one -party government led by ANO.

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Peter Fial, congratulated the ANO movement on the victory in the parliamentary elections.

Andrei Babish served as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from December 2017 to December 2021. His party in the parliamentary elections of 2021 was defeated, losing to the Alliance “Together”.

Babish said that Ukraine is not yet ready to join the European Union. According to him, first you need to end the war.

“You are not ready for EU. First you must end the war. Of course, we can cooperate with Ukraine, but you are not ready for membership in the European Union, ” – He said, answering the question of a Ukrainian journalist.

The pro -Ukrainian block, which, in addition to Spolu (coalitions under the leadership of Prime Minister Peter Fiala), also includes Stan and Piráti, now has about 41% of voter support.

The Czech parliament consists of 200 deputies, therefore, to form a government of any coalition, it is necessary to get at least 101 mandates.
