“Rent return” up to 800 euros: step -by -step guide for a new support program

Power of Greece Launch a lease return program: before 800 euros For housing plus 50 euros for each child. Until the end of November 2025 Housing tenants in Greece will receive a one -time lease return for 2024. The program is first introduced for financial relief of citizens renting basic or student housing.

The size of payments

• Basic housing: before 800 euros per year, with an increase of 50 euros for each dependent child.
• Student housing: before 800 euros per year for each student.

The amount is calculated as 1/12 from annual lease. If there were several contracts in a row, the total amount is taken into account.

Who has the right

Payments are provided subject to revenue and property criteria:

• Lonely faces: income up to 20,000 euros.
• Spouses/partners: income up to 28,000 euros + 4,000 euros per child.
• Monoroditarian families: up to 31,000 euros + 5,000 euros for each child in excess of the first.

Real estate: The cost should not exceed 120,000 euros for lonely. The limit increases by 20,000 euros for the spouse and partner and every child.

For student lease, only profitable criteria are taken into account.

Important dates

• Until July 15, 2025: registration of a lease agreement (Μισθωτήριο) V Ααδε.
• Until September 30, 2025: making or correction of the contract number in the tax return (ε1) without a fine.
• Until October 20, 2025: Loading documents (in special cases: lease from the state, manual agreements).
• Until December 31, 2025: the deadline for submitting documents for detained payments.

How will pay

The return of the lease will be transferred to IBANspecified in the system MyAade. Statements are not required. In case of discrepancies (for example, a property criterion was incorrectly applied or student agreements are not taken into account), tenants can load documents into the system Τα αιτήματά μου (“My requests”).

Since 2026

From January 1, 2026, all rent payments will be made Mandatory through bank accounts. This condition will become a prerequisite for participation in the program.

Where to indicate IBAN

IBAN needs to be registered or updated in the system:

• Μητρώο & επικοινωνία> δήλωση λογαριασμού IBAN (Register and Contacts> Application of the IBAN bank account).
• Through the Myaade application: Στοιχεία επικοινωνίας> iban (Contact details> IBAN).
