In Germany, shares supporting the Islamic regime in Syria expressed approval of violence against religious minorities, including Druzov. Imam Seyran Atesh reported that on Saturday several hundred migrants gathered near the Red Town Hall in Berlin, waving the flags of Syria and shouting the slogans in support of the Islamists.
Among the chanting in Arabic phrases there were calls for violence: “Today we will take Eswood” and “We will heat the Druzov”, which in context means threats of murders and rape. Protesters also expressed aggression in relation to Christians, Alavites and citizens of Israel.
According to the human rights organization “Democ”, part of the slogans was associated with the tribal culture characteristic of some Syrian groups actively involved in hostilities.
In the south of Syria, in the Es-Suyid area, recently An exacerbation of the conflict occurred. There, HTS militants, the Sunni armed units and the forces supporting the government, attacked Druzov. According to human rights defenders, hundreds of people were killed and beheaded, among whom are women and children. Several villages are burned.
The fighting was temporarily subsided, but the situation remains tense. The withdrawal of the Syrian troops began after Israel inflicted air strikes in Damascus, announcing the protection of the Druzhsky community.
Imam Atesh: “They are recruited to spread radical views.” Atesh, who founded the liberal mosque Ibn-Rushd-Geto, in an interview with Euronews I expressed concern radical activity:
“These people arrived in Europe for a reason – they carry an extremist ideology with them and strive to recruit supporters.”
According to her, Such demonstrations are not just protests, but a demonstration of radicalism on the streets. She also criticizes legal weakness in relation to such manifestations: “So far, views do not threaten the constitution, society ignores them.”
Some believe that the radicals are allowed more to avoid accusations of Islamophobia. In 2024, the Atesh mosque was temporarily closed due to threats from the Islamists. Previously, she became a victim of the attack of the right Turkish radicals. Today, the mosque is protected by the police and continues to defend the rights of women and LGBTK.
In Düsseldorf, there were also promotions in which about 300 people participated. Protesters expressed support for the new Islamic regime in Syria. There were inscriptions on the posters: “We are for the president of Ahmed al-Sharaa”-the former al-Qaeda terrorist, previously known as al-Jolani.
A video appeared on social networks where protesters enthusiastically welcome violence against the Druz, and the symbol of the scissors accompanying the video hints at the “ritual” – cutting a mustache from representatives of this community.
The conflict reached the apogei at the station in Dusseldorf, where the supporters of the Islamists and the Prourdish activists collided. A mass fight began using stones and bottles. Five police officers were injured, the police opened about 20 criminal cases.
The radicalism specialist Suzanne Schröter is convinced that the Islamists who supported violence and anti -Semitism are not in the place in Germany. She emphasizes:
“Those who poster the threat here should be deported – they are no longer dangerous in their homeland.”
Schröter adds that such activists are not hidden because they are not afraid of punishment: “They consider our country weak and use it.”
“Islamists are not a place in the legal state.” Mehmet Tanriverdi, a representative of the Kurdish community of Germany, recalled that many of the arrivals had previously fled from the Assad regime. However, now, supporting the Islamists, they threaten other minorities – Druzes, Alavites, Kurds. He calls for a change in the foreign policy of Germany in Syria and deport not only criminals, but also everyone who supports anti -democratic views.
Atesh: “The state needs political support.” She calls for politicians more actively helping special services in the fight against extremism:
“Too much attention is paid to the right, while religious extremism remains in the shade.”
CDS politician: “German citizenship for the support of radicalism is unacceptable.” CDU deputy Christopher Furster believes that the migration crisis of 2015 brought to Germany many supporters of Islamism, who do not share European values. He claims:
“After the overthrow of Assad, they feel that they got an advantage. We must insist on their departure – voluntary or forced. ”
Ferster is convinced that those who participate in radical rallies should not receive a German passport.
