The oldest runner in the world, 114-year-old Fauja Singh, died in India under the wheels of a car.
He died when he crossed the road in his village in Penjab. The culprit of the accident disappeared from the scene. On the evening of Monday July 14, despite the efforts of the doctors, the marathon died.
Singh was born on April 1, 1911. Until five years, he did not go, and having matured, became an amateur runner. At 89, he ran a London marathon. And in 101, in 2013, Singhu set a record in the M100 Categoria, running 10 km in 1 hour 32 minutes 28 seconds, tells Telegram channel Nexta Live.
