In an apartment building where journalist Yannis Perthyeris lives, an explosive device was found. There was no warning phone call.
The device was found by a gardener in a small courtyard yesterday, July 10, at 16:00. The man immediately reported this personal protection of the journalist. At the same time, an alarm was sounded in the Greek police.
According to information, the explosive device consisted of five coils and a detonator. It is examined by employees of the Department for the neutralization of explosive objects.
The device will be deactivated and transferred to the forensic laboratory for DNA and a fingerprint examination. At the same time, employees of the anti -terrorist unit are looking for video recording of the approach to the house and the retreat of criminals.
