The death of a policeman in Califery (video)

As a result of an accident today, a 48-year-old policeman was killed in the Afinsky district of Califei.

The tragedy occurred early in the morning on Tuesday July 8, shortly after 2 a.m., on the avenue of Eleferios Veniselos (Tesieos) 220, near Tsekvi Panagia Eleus, towards the sea. Eyewitnesses say that they heard a loud cotton.

Employees and visitors to the restaurants located at the scene of the incident went outside to see what was happening. They saw a powerful large motorcycle pressed to the rear of the truck, and a driver who received very serious injuries. Witnesses of the accident notified the emergency response team, and within a few minutes patrol vehicles arrived at the scene, firefighters with three cars and an ambulance EKAB.

The frames of what was happening were extremely “gestured”: the firefighters needed a huge effort to unhook both the motorcycle and its driver from the back of the truck, in which the gap was formed.

Soon, the identity of the driver-motorcyclist was established, and death was officially confirmed. Road police officers remained in this area for some time, checking every inch road, inspecting parked cars and looking for entries from video surveillance cameras in the area.

One of the questions that will investigate was whether there were any vehicles parked illegally, that is, protruding, and the possibility of another vehicle participated in this. The speed of movement will be set.
