It is useful to check the labels of standard products to understand how much sugar they contain. Do you know that some products that are considered useful can hide sugar? One of the most common examples – whole wheat breadin the production of which sugar and other sweeteners are added to activate yeast and increase their activity.
It is recommended to carefully study the labels of products to control the sugar content. Three products with “hidden” sugar:
- Yogurt. Greek yogurt is a satisfying and white -rich snack. However, flavored species contain an excess of sugar. It is better to add ingredients yourself.
- Canned fruits. Before buying, check the labels. Despite natural sweetness, sugar is often added to them. Dried fruits in packages are another source of hidden sugar.
- Sauces. Tomato sauce – The source of Likopin, but sugar is present in ready -made versions. Prepare at home to avoid excess sugar.
