In Brazil, a balloon caught fire and fell, in the basket of which there were 21 people.
Eight people died, reports Metrópoles. According to the local military fire department, 13 survivors were saved and they were immediately assisted.
The incident occurred in the state of Santa Catarin on the morning of June 21, in an area popular for balloon flights. The flight took place over the city of Praya-grande, in the south of Santa Katarina, the area is known as the “capital of the canyons and aeronautics.”
According to preliminary data, the fall occurred next to the medical center. The reasons for the fire and disaster are investigated.
