For security reasons, data on the number of exchange participants are not yet reported. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky reported yesterday at Telegram:

“Ukrainians are returning home from Russian captivity. Today, an exchange has begun, which will last in several stages in the coming days. Among the categories of those who are now returning – wounded and seriously wounded, as well as under 25 years old. The process is quite complicated, many sensitive details, negotiations continue in virtually daily. The exchange relates to certain categories of prisoners of war: at the age of 25 years, seriously wounded and seriously ill captives. Work on the repatriation of the bodies of the dead Ukrainian military also continues.

The coordination assures that the returned defenders will be provided with everything necessary:
