A leak of oil products in the Russian Yenisei occurred on June 8 after damage to the ship, following two barges. First, 10-15 tons of diesel fuel spilled, then the volume increased to 30 tons.

This was announced by Yuri Ozersky, the head of the Kazachinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where the emergency occurred. The department of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Krasnoyarsk Territory specified that the ship hit the thresholds, a barge and a vessel were divided. At the ship, the fuel tank was damaged, it was nailed to the shore. According to the ministry, there are no victims, the ship's move is not violated.

The oil spot has already reached the shores of the squeak and Momotovo, the distance between these settlements is more than 7 km in a straight line. Ozersky said:

“An emergency regime has been introduced on the territory of our region. There is no threat to the inhabitants of our area. However, there is a danger to the local flora and fauna, with which specialists have to fight. ”

The head of the district noted that the Kazachin threshold is a “expected” site dangerous for shipping and similar incidents. He urged “not to create excessive excitement” and assured that all the necessary measures were worked out in the region to eliminate spills.

TASS Writesthat the ship that received the hole belongs to the Ob-Irtysh river shipping company. According to the portal “City News of Krasnoyarsk”, there were 14 crew members on board the ship, two of them were evacuated ashore, the rest continue to liquidate the consequences.

A total of about 100 specialists of the Center for emergency rescue operations and the Ministry of Emergencies are involved in eliminating the accident, Interfax told the press service of the regional emergency department.
