In the Belgian city of Hasrod, two Ukrainians were found dead in a residential building-a 46-year-old woman and her six-year-old daughter.
Both have stab wounds, and the criminal set fire to the crime, the media write. How reports The Belgian public broadcaster VRT, the tragedy occurred on Friday morning in the priest’s house on Milsestrat Street in the city of Hasrod, not far from the audit. About 9:30 Fire Service received a fire in the house. On the spot, rescuers found a strong smoke from the windows of the apartment on the ground floor. The fire was localized.
During the inspection of the premises, two bodies were found – women and her daughters. The mother was already dead at the time of the arrival of the rescuers. The child was reanimated, but subsequently the girl died of injuries.
According to the investigation, both dead had stab wounds. According to the preliminary conclusions of the expert on fire examination, the fire was deliberate. The material says:
“We are talking about a Ukrainian family that has been living in our country for three years. The girl’s father is still fighting at the front in Ukraine. The woman also had a 16-year-old son, who was at school at the time of the fire. They are now looking after him.”
The prosecutor's office qualifies what happened as a double murder.
