With the help of the cartoon, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called on to observe information security, emphasizing that silence is also a weapon.
The agency published on social networks an animated video and called on the media, politicians and the military to observe information security in the conditions of martial law, not to disseminate the data that the enemy can use:
“During the war, there is no insignificant – everything matters. One report made without approval can become a source of coordinates for the enemy. Unrestrained commentary – the object of intelligence. Excess publication is the reason for the blow and losses.”
The animated video tells the story of supposedly a report from a civilian enterprise on which drones are made. According to the plot, it was after the show of this video on television that the enemy received data for a blow, which led to the destruction of production and to many victims. The General Staff noted:
“Everyone who works with sensitive information must act responsibly and in compliance with the rules of information security. This video is a reminder for every journalist, military, public figure or official: silence is also a weapon. The enemy hears! Follow!”
Earlier we talked about how The Russian media “settled” the Drones Management Paragraph in Moscow.
