A 37-year-old hotel robber in Attica was arrested (video)

The serial robber of hotel employees was arrested on Friday March 21 in Glyphad.

Early in the morning, police officers of the Southeast Directorate for the investigation of crimes and the persecution of Attica criminals (υποδιεύθυνσης δίωival και εagesνίασης εγκλημάτων νοτιοανατικής αττικής) detained a 37-year-old foreigner, who who He made at least five robberies in Attica.

According to the Greek police, during the investigation, which was conducted by a special group over the past month, on the basis of information, data and evidence, the criminal actions of a man were confirmed and his whereabouts were established, Writes Newsbeast.gr.

The criminal was seen by police officers early on the morning of Friday at the wheel of a car and detained when trying to enter the hotel in the Glifada area. During the detention, the man was strongly resisted and tried to escape, waving a plastic pistol dummy. During the search, he was found and seized:

• a plastic gun that he used during the robberies,
• a fake identity card,
• Fake driver’s license,
• A small amount of raw hemp,
• 405 euros.

During the preliminary investigation, five cases of robberies in Scaramangas, Glyfad, Elliniko, Hagios-Dimitrios and Exarchy were disclosed. In relation to him, two orders were given to arrest for serial robberies and illegal storage of weapons. The arrested was delivered to the competent prosecutor's office.
