Corfu: The employee is accused of embezzlement of 400,000 euros from the treasury of the Ionical Islands

The periphery employee of the ionic islands at Corfu is accused of assignment of 400,000 euros from the treasury of the fund.

According to Corfutvnews, this issue was discussed in the regional council. According to the evidence presented by the deputy head of the Department of Finance Savvas Kuluris, the translations were carried out methodically and seemed to be aimed at hiding the final destination of money.

Although the accounts seem to belong to the officials of the region, they themselves, apparently, are not involved in anything and know nothing.

The ongoing inspections, backed up by the decrees of the prosecutor's office, will show whether other persons were involved or it was a complex mechanism, which is managed exclusively by one employee of the fund.
