When she changed places with another passenger, her behavior became uncontrolled, and she began to actively argue with the crew, using offensive vocabulary.
Michael Hands, passenger who traveled with his partner Katherine Robertsdescribed the chaotic situation:
“It was absolute chaos, I have never seen anything like it. This woman clearly drank throughout the flight, and perhaps the crew had to continue to serve it, as this probably led to the fact that she lost her temper. She sat behind me, and then changed places, but was not satisfied and began to argue with the crew. By that time, we spent two hours in flight and were somewhere over Greece, and she constantly shouted: “Call the police, call the police.”
The flight captain was forced to take urgent measures and announced on the radio:
“If a naughty passenger does not calm down within two minutes, we will make an emergency landing.”
A little later, the plane turned and headed for the Elefterios Veniselos airport.
Upon arrival in Athens, two Greek police officers entered the plane and approached the woman, while the rest of the passengers took the moment on their mobile phones.
“Of course, there were some condemning cries and ridicule addressed to a woman, but nothing serious happened, and in the end we landed in Athens, and the police climbed on board and brought her to the great joy of everyone,” added Hand.
Flight, after he stayed on the ground for about two hours, continued his journey in HurghadaArriving a little later than the planned time.
Wizz Air stated that the trial of the passenger would demand.
