In the city of Gidda, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States to resolve the war with Russia begin in Saudi Arabia.
A video in Telegram published a video in which the Ukrainian delegation, including the head of the PU Andrei Ermak, his deputy Pavel Palis, the Foreign Minister Andrei Sibigu and the head of the Ministry of Defense Rustemov, enters the negotiation hall, was published in Telegram. The report says:
“In Jidd, Saudi Arabia, a meeting of Ukrainian and American delegations begins.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine previously noted that negotiations between Ukraine and the USA in Saudi Arabia will concern bilateral relations and ways to the world.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Monday that Ukraine will have to make concessions in the territories that Russia has captured since 2014, as part of any agreement on the end of the war.
According to the media, Ukraine will offer the United States a plan for a temporary ceasefire in the air and at sea, as well as attacks on energy and civilian infrastructure facilities.
