“We have bad news. Tether entered the war against the Russian crypto and blocked our wallets worth more than 2.5 billion rubles. ”
The cryptocurrency officer said that she suspended all the services, including the withdrawal of cryptocurrencies, and warned that the entire USDT cryptocurrency on Russian wallets was in threat.
The United States imposed sanctions against Garantex in 2022, the European Union did it in February 2025.
