Under the windows of a burning apartment in Thessaloniki, firefighters found a deceased man – he tried to escape from the fire.

The tragic incident occurred today early in the morning, on Thursday, March 6, in an apartment building in Thessaloniki. At 02:20, the fire department received a message about a fire that flashed in an apartment on the 3rd floor at 32 hagios Dimitriu Street.

Seven cars with 20 firefighters and a special car dealership immediately left for the scene. During the extinguishing of fire, firefighters discovered the body of a man in an open territory of an apartment building.
