Donald Trump announced the introduction of 25%duties on cars and other goods from EU. The European Commission promised a “tough and immediate answer.”
On Wednesday, February 26, Trump said in an interview with reporters that the United States will “very soon” introduce duties of 25% on goods imported from the European Union:
“We made a decision, and we will announce it very soon. In general terms, it will mean 25%, and it will be cars and all such things. Listen, let's be honest: the European Union was formed to spoil the life of the United States. This was a goal, and they did a great job.”
