Aircraft crash at Toronto International Airport (video)

According to the media, eight people were injured as a result of the incident. Three of them – a child and two adult passengers – were taken to hospitals in critical condition. In total, on board the Bombardier CRJ 900 there were 76 passengers and four crew members. According to the airport, none of them died. Representatives of Delta Airlines clarified that the flight was performed by the Endeavor Air airline – a DA subsidiary with a headquarters in Minneapolis.

In the photo and video from the airport published by eyewitnesses, puffs of smoke rising from the aircraft are noticeable. However, any major fire was not reported.

At the same time, people on board themselves were able to get out of the inverted vessel, the representative of the local police Sarah Patten told Reuters:

“A plane crash occurred. However, at the moment we do not know the circumstances associated with it. As far as I understand it, most passengers got out of the plane and have not suffered, but we are still trying to make sure that we are still at the scene and conducting the incident and conduct investigation”.
