Cake Admiral – step -by -step preparation


Soon the day of all the lovers is Valentine's Day. Want to hit your beloved (beloved) with your culinary skill? I propose to bake the exquisite and unusually delicious admiral cake.

He will require time and patience from you, but the result is worth it. However, the whole difficulty lies only in the fact that the cake consists of seven cakes requiring careful handling, and you can do perfectly with the manufacture of the cream.

Necessary products

For cakes You will need:

300 grams of soft margarine or oil (choice at will);

3 egg yolks;

1 glass of sugar;

1/2 teaspoon of soda + for its extinguishing 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice;

2.5-3 cups of flour.

For cream:

1 glass of sour cream (can be replaced with 10%yogurt);

1/2 cup sugar;

1 bank of boiled condensed milk (caramel).

Nuts will also be needed. As a rule, walnuts are used (they can be slightly frying in the oven while baking cakes), but you can take others to your taste.

Baking cakes

All components of the parts – soft margarine, sugar, yolks, soda and gradually adding flour – stir well with a mixer. The dough should turn out to be elastic, not cool. While you are preparing the dough, turn on the oven for heating to 180 degrees.

Divide the resulting dough into 7 parts. On a slightly lubricated oil, roll out a cliff or just with your fingers a circle, its thickness is about 0.5 cm. So that all the cakes are even and the same, with the help of a plate, cut the excess in a circle. All, send the baking sheet to the oven for about 10 minutes (look so that the cake does not burn!). The finished cake will become a pleasant golden color.

Having taken it out of the oven, again with the help of a plate, restore the desired size while it is hot – during the pastries, the cake can “spread out” a little. Do not throw off the excess – these pieces will be needed to decorate the top.

Important: the cake is removed from the baking sheet is not hot, but warm. Use a spatula and a knife for this: try to carefully remove the whole and put on a dish where the future cake will be located. Do not be discouraged if it suddenly broke off – connect the pieces on the dish, and then their cream will “connect” them.

Similarly, bake all other cakes, lubricating each, after cooling, cream.

Cream

Beat sour cream with sugar, gradually adding a boiled condensed milk.

Final design

All seven cakes are lubricated with cream. The upper one is additionally decorated with chopped (but not in powder!) Nuts and, at the very end, a baby that remained with you from leveling ready -made cakes. Just rub the pieces with your fingers and sprinkle the finished cake. Now it needs to be put in the refrigerator for impregnation for several hours or at night and … a pleasant appetite!
