The police and the Belgian intelligence services conduct criminals in the metro tunnels, who on the morning of February 5 opened fire from machine guns at one of the nodal stations of the Brussels metro.
The BB.LV publication notes that the Belgian police are in no hurry to recognize the incident that has received international resonance. There are no victims as a result of shooting. Presumably the arrows disappeared in the metro tunnel.
The official representative of the Brussels Department South Sarah Frederick said that criminals can still be in the metro tunnels between the Klemanso metro station, where fire was opened and the Brussels South station. The police also combs the adjacent territory.
As of yesterday evening, the incident is not officially qualified, like a terrorist attack. The investigating authorities believe that fire could be opened during the conflict between the groups of drug dealers. The police explained that they did not want to rush with the assessment of what happened. The analysis of the pictures taken at the scene of the incident showed that the shooters in masks were armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles or their analogues.

The incident caused a wide international resonance. Brussels is not only the capital of Belgium, but also the place of stay of the central institutions of the European Union and NATO headquarters. And the Klemanso station is in the immediate vicinity of the Central Railway Station, which serves high -speed expresses that run to Paris and London.
