US President Donald Trump said on Friday 31 on January 31 of the “very serious” discussions with Russia.

Donald Trump said that his administration had already conducted “very serious” discussions with Russia regarding its war in Ukraine and announced that he soon and Russian ruler Vladimir Putin can take “significant” measures:
“We will say and, I think, perhaps, we will do something that will be significant. We want to put an end to this war. This war would not have begun if I were the president.”
Trump did not say which of his administration was in contact with the Russians. However, the US president convinced that both parties were already talking. True, Trump answered with restraint to the clarifying question whether he already spoke directly with Putin: “I do not want to say that.”
Earlier, Donald Trump said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “not an angel” and “should not have allowed this war.” Once again he promised to stop the war in Ukraine and instructed to organize a call to Putin after the inauguration in order to agree on a meeting with him.
The day before, the US President demanded that Russia “conclude a deal” to complete the war in Ukraine, otherwise promising the tightening of sanctions and tariffs against Moscow. And he recalled that he would achieve a reduction in oil prices to end the war.
