New pedestrian and bicycle paths along the coast of glyfada

Part of the project for the reconstruction of the coastal zone Glyphidessuburbs of the southern capital of Greece along Athenian Rivieraalready completed: added a new 3.5-kilometer bike path.

Another 2.5 kilometer route will be completed soon.

The mayor of Glyfada Georgios Papanicolau emphasized in his statement on Facebook:

“The horizontal route is about 3.5 kilometers long along the coast of glyphada completed. Now we continue to work on another 2.5 kilometers of vertical routes. Literally on the edge of the water. These routes include pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as new trees and plants. Soon you will also see open sports grounds for everyone and playing areas for children. Already now you can enjoy the new and modern pedestrian path on our embankment, the cycling of the international standard and other changes that have improved the entire coastal zone. ”
