Airplane crash investigation "Azerbaijan Airlines" confirms missile strike (video)


The Azerbaijan Airlines plane was shot down by a missile fired from the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, the Azerbaijani channel reports, citing Russian sources.

The investigation into the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines Flight 8243 continues. New data obtained from Russian sourceswrites AnewZ, indicate that the plane was shot down by the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, which was delivered to Russia from Syria.

According to reliable sources familiar with the investigation, Russian officials also determined that Electronic warfare systems were deployed against the Azerbaijani aircraft, which led to serious failures in its control systems before the crash.
