The killer of the 61-year-old bookmaker OΠΑΠ (Operator Παίγνιων Αθλητικών Προβλέψεων) in Paleo Faliro turned out to be a 39-year-old political refugee from Turkey.
An armed robbery that happened last Sunday ended tragically – murder a man who tried to prevent the Turk from escaping with the proceeds.
Found on the murder suspect cash in the amount of 7000 euroswhich he is believed to have stolen from the establishment's cash register. The police were able track down and arrest him using CCTV footage and other evidence found at the crime scene.
