Greek Tax Authority (ΑΑΔΕ) begins investigations into hidden square meters, cross-checking data from the cadastre and the form Ε9.
Thanks to the integration of electronic systems, AAΔE inspectors will have direct access to records National cadastrewhich will allow them to quickly identify all properties that have not been declared. This applies to both plots and houses, as well as land plots in undeveloped areas that are not indicated in the E9 form.
It will also identify properties that, although registered in the Cadastre, are not listed with the correct area in property register (Ε9) at the tax service.
According to the publication Τα Νέαthe goal of the new plan is to uncover undeclared houses, plots of land and other unauthorized structures such as swimming pools, as well as undeclared “hidden” square meters in apartments and houses.
According to market sources, there are many cases where property owners, without having contracts, did not list their properties in the Ε9 form, but recently registered them in the cadastre with the help of a certified witness declaration and correction of the latest Ε9 form.
