Donald Trump hopes to make Hollywood “stronger than ever“, announcing the appointment Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson And Jon Voight “special envoys”whose task will be to regain the business that was lost in “foreign countries”.
“I am honored to announce the appointment of Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone as special envoys to the great but turbulent place of Hollywood, California.”Donald Trump wrote in Truth Social on Thursday (16/1).
Trump announced his appointment of them as “special envoys” of Hollywood: “They will serve me as special envoys with the goal of bringing Hollywood – which has lost many jobs over the last four years overseas – back bigger, better and stronger than ever.” These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears and I will do whatever they suggest. Hollywood will again, like the United States of America itself, have a golden age!” Donald Trump wrote.
Mel Gibson, Jon Voight And Sylvester Stallone have been ardent Trump supporters in recent years. Sylvester Stallone introduced the president-elect at a gala in Mar-a-Lago in November, calling him “the second George Washington.” He recently starred in a drama Paramount+ “Tulsa King” and co-wrote and produced the action film with Jason Statham “Working Man”
Mel Gibson expressed his support for Donald Trump in the 2024 election and also removed the award Oscar film “Hacksaw Ridge” in 2016.
Jon Voight spoke at length about his admiration for Trump on the cover Variety last year. He recently appeared in the film “Megalopolis” Francis Ford Coppola and in the biopic “Reagan”, where Dennis Quaid played the role of the president Ronald Reagan.
