200 euro fine for Greek drivers who splashed pedestrians (video)


Outside the window, the bad weather continues and it rains, but for most of us we can’t wait out the bad weather at home.

Standing at a bus stop or crossing the street, pedestrians often find themselves in an unpleasant situation – a passing car “refreshes” them with a dirty fountain of splashes and hurries on further, about its urgent business. Is this really not punishable?

The Traffic Code (TCC), among other violations, also provides for the case when a driver sprays pedestrians. In such weather conditions, drivers need to be more careful, both to avoid road accidents and for the safety of pedestrians.

For all careless drivers who do not care for others, a fine of 200 euros is provided, stated in paragraph 3.c. Article 39 of the Traffic Code (3.γ. του Άρθρου 39 του ΚΟΚ). But sometimes there are more radical punishments, which we, of course, do not encourage you to do:
